Tru is a social media platform for individuals and organizations. It provides the reputation-based infrastructure required for science and journalism – and needed now by all of society.
Tru filters information by letting Hubs subscribe to Hubs that each filter and elevate content for each other in ways algorithms can’t.
Tru is built on JLINC, a technology developed by the founders. JLINC provides cryptographically signed, human-readable, legally binding, automated data exchange across the internet – with, or without, any blockchain. This governs how data is used after it is shared.
Tru is in private beta. Contact us if you would like access.

A Hub is a space for group collaboration and publishing. You can create a Hub as an individual or for an organization. Only Hubs can publish on Tru.
Tru authenticates your identity using your mobile when you sign-up to prove that you are one unique human and not an evil bot or troll. You can remain pseudonymous and use a handle and an avatar, or use your real name, but you establish a reputation based on a digital key that represents all your activity.
The system uses your number to send you an SMS code to verify you are a real person. No one can see it and Tru will only contact you for minimum admin.
It is best to decide whether you are going to use your real name or an avatar when you create your account. You can change it later, but once you associate your real name with an account, it could be connected to you.
You can go to Set Up and simply change the display name. The only thing you can't change is the URL that you set when you created the Hub.
Tru is a progressive web application. It runs on computer, mobile and tablet on Mac, PC, iPhone, android and pretty much any device. It does not require an app store download or Apple and Google's approval. It can be saved to an icon on the phone or desktop.
The channel on the features Hub is an open connection to design and dev and that Telegram group also goes to dev. You can also email suppport@tru.net
Go to any Hub that has enabled Telegram and hit the airplane icon. Follow the instructions there. It will ask you for a code that Telegram will send to your mobile.
Yes, the progressive web app runs in any browser on any device, Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android. If you can get to the internet you can run Tru.
